Foundation stone laid for new service station in Hamad Town


 (June 10, 2010)

 The foundation stone was laid on June 10, 2010, for a new service station in Hamad Town.

 H.E. the Minister of Oil & Gas Affairs, chairman of the National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA) and chairman of Bapco, Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, laid the first stone for Al-Rawdha service station at a ceremony also attended by a number of Ministry of Oil officials and members of Bapco’s management.

 The new Bapco-operated service station will offer a convenience store, car service centre, sales building and an automated teller machine, and will be able to serve 16 vehicles at one time.

 The total estimated cost of the project is BD1,064,773, and the station is expected to be completed and operational by the end of November this year.
