Bapco will be one of the major sponsors of the first ever Bahrain International Air Show taking place later this month.
The sponsorship agreement was signed on Thursday, January 7, at Al-Dar in Awali by Bapco Acting Chief Executive Faisal Al-Mahroos and Captain Abdulrahman Mohamed Al-Gaoud, Under-Secretary for Civil Aviation Affairs. The signing was also attended by members of Bapco’s management and representatives of Civil Aviation Affairs.
“Bapco is proud to be involved with this exciting event, the first ever in Bahrain,” said Mr. Al-Mahroos. “Jet fuel is one of Bapco’s main products, and Bapco supplies jet fuel to the Bahrain International Airport – so the Company has a long history of involvement with aircraft in Bahrain.”
Captain Abdulrahman Mohamed Al-Gaoud said: “We are pleased to have Bapco as a partner in this important event, and we thank the Company for its contribution and support.”
The event, from January 21 to 23 at the Sakhir Airbase, is organised by Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs and will feature world famous aerobatic display teams and aircraft shows, as well as flying displays, a heritage village, entertainment and children’s attractions.
