Bapco has set a new record for monthly capacity, the highest average monthly record at its Refinery, of 270,800 barrels per day. The new record, set in May, is a major accomplishment compared to the Refinery’s average capacity of 262,000.

This new achievement is the result of Bapco’s high performance in operations, regular controls and check-ups, and ongoing maintenance, in addition to the concerted efforts and professionalism of its workers and technicians in the units and the Refinery’s support teams, including utilities, storage and shipment, said Bapco Chief Executive Abdulkarim Al-Sayed.

Mr. Al-Sayed expressed his deep satisfaction with this latest accomplishment, hailing Bapco’s commitment towards achieving excellence in all its operations and bolstering its status among leading oil refineries worldwide.
